Flat machines covers are forged for pressures greater than those calculated For basic yoke & bolt or clamp bolt manways.

These forged covers are available in standard thicknesses or in custom-specified thicknesses that allow for an unlimited range of pressure/temperature conditions.

Designed for use with yoke & bolt manways, flat machined forged covers can be manufactured in a wide range of materials. Standard covers are made of carbon steel.
